We help medical AI and healthcare technology companies find overseas demo sites and distribution partners — and help overseas companies find the right distributor in Taiwan.
At the core of Bridging Platform is a senior team spanning Taiwan and Asian healthcare technology industry — combining international business development, clinical-side market access, and regulatory/contract negotiation expertise to help medical AI and healthcare technology companies actually land in overseas markets, not just receive a list of distributor names.
Founder Tonia Hsiao
Tonia Hsiao brings over 17 years of international business development experience in the healthcare technology industry. She served as International Business Manager at EBM Technologies Inc. (2017–2024) and IoT Business Development Manager (2014–2017), and previously as Assistant Manager of Sales at Bionime Corporation (2011–2013) — leading distributor development, overseas market entry, contract negotiation, and market expansion planning across Asia, Europe, and North America.
She also holds a legal background — an LLM in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University and an LLB from National Taipei University — and previously worked as a corporate legal manager, with deep experience in cross-border contract negotiation and risk management. This combination of business development and legal expertise is why Bridging Platform handles both distributor matching and regulatory/contract bridging under one roof.
Since 2024, Tonia has worked as an independent consultant supporting overseas business development for healthcare AI companies including DeepRad AI and IntoWell Technology / Dr. AI, and helped South Korea's GP&P find a suitable distributor in Taiwan — the work that led to founding Bridging Platform.
International Advisor Sean (Sunjoo) Lee
Sean (Sunjoo) Lee brings over 25 years of experience in global digital healthcare. He served as CEO of Infinitt Healthcare (2002–2012), a leading Korean PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) company, where he led its global market expansion, and later as CEO of GEMSS Medical (2012–2016) and RNJ Co. (2018–2022). During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led the introduction of three major European lung cancer screening trials (4-ITLR/Netherlands, Hanse/Germany, ILSP/Italy) into Korea, strengthening cross-border collaboration in early cancer detection. In 2023, he founded Larika Health Co. to continue advancing digital healthcare innovation and international market access. His three-decade network across Korea's healthcare industry — spanning medical device makers, hospitals, and government health bodies — complements Bridging Platform's international reach beyond Taiwan.
Our Services
Demo Site Development & POC Validation
We help medical AI and healthcare technology companies establish demo sites in overseas hospitals and clinical institutions to support product deployment and POC validation.
Distributor Matching (Two-Way)
Whether a Taiwan company is seeking overseas distributors, or an overseas company is looking for a Taiwan partner, we draw on frontline business development experience to identify, vet, and match the right distributor.
Contract & Market Expansion Support
With a legal background, we support contract negotiation and distributor revenue-sharing structure design, and bridge regulatory advisors, clinical workflow validation, and technical support resources.
Trade Show Support & Lead Conversion
We help plan exhibition strategy and convert sales leads from trade shows or marketing campaigns into real partnerships. We're skilled at analyzing both parties' resources and strategic fit, actively tracking progress, identifying where deals stall, and clearing those blockers to speed up the path from first contact to a signed agreement — for new business development with limited time and resources, this execution discipline matters as much as finding the right partner.
Case Highlights
DeepRad AI — Overseas Business Development Led market assessment and hospital outreach across Japan and Southeast Asia, and established demo sites. Secured a distribution partnership with Thaiway in Thailand, signed MOUs with several other prospective partners, and is currently advancing hospital-level POC discussions.
IntoWell Technology / Dr. AI — Overseas Business Development Led market assessment and hospital outreach; completed CMS integration with Singapore's SGiMed, with the product now live and selling in the Singapore market.
GP&P (South Korea) — Taiwan Distributor Matching Helped GP&P, a South Korean cardiac imaging technology company, identify and secure a distribution partner in Taiwan. The process took about one year and concluded with a signed agreement; a demo site is planned this year, with sales expected to begin next year.
